Attorney Profile

After earning my undergraduate degree I worked as a cost accountant and controller for more than a decade.  While I was working full-time I attended graduate school in the evenings and earned a masters degree in business administration.

Prior to attending law school I worked in a wide variety of capacities for a number of different employers from sales and marketing to administration and accounting.  I am a former SBA small business owner.  After working in finance, accounting and higher education I decided to attend law school.

Unlike most lawyers who attend law school full-time I entered Suffolk University Law School's evening program.  For the four years that I attended law school in the evenings I worked full-time days as a paralegal for a very well respected plaintiff's litigation firm in downtown Boston.

I am able to weave my extraordinarily broad and varied background into the practice of law.  Unlike most lawyers whose backgrounds and experience are limited to the practice of law I am able to read and understand financial statements.  I understand the pressures that small businesses face.

Having been a former small business owner and accountant I practice law with a great deal of pragmatism.

I am an Associate Professor in the Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Department at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.  I've been teaching at Bentley for more then a decade.

You would be hard pressed to meet anyone else with as wide and varied of a professional background as I have.  Please ask me about the different jobs that I have had.  You will be amazed!
